Communicating with a Referee

Contact details for your Referee will be provided via a notification when a Referee has been scheduled for your game and has accepted the assignment.
You should email the Referee to confirm all logistical detail.

Paying a Referee

Your obligation is to provide payment to the Referee on the day of the game, but if this is not possible due to administrative restrictions, then no later than one week after the game.  We recognize that there are variations in how clubs, colleges, and schools process payments for Referees.
Non-payment of Referees may result in further Referee assignments being cancelled.

Demonstrating the Spirit of the Game

Referee abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and will be dealt with immediately, which may result in match suspension, sanction of players or coaches, or more severe outcomes.
Abuse of players from coaches is strongly discouraged by the Society.
Abuse from spectators aimed at players or coaches is strongly discouraged by the Society and should be managed appropriately by team management.

All forms of abuse will be recorded by Referees on their Match Reports

Let’s remember that we play this game with passion, respect, honesty, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
