Booking a Referee<\/font><\/span><\/h3>

Navigate to MATCHES in MatchFacts, and click the little arrow at the right side of the \u201cadd new match\u201d button.\nSelect game or tournament:\n

INDIVIDUAL GAMES:\n
Select your competition. Select division. Select round. Select field. Enter time\/date\/opponent details.\n

TOURNAMENTS:\n
Select your competition. Select division. Select round. Select field. Enter time\/date\/opponent details. Update the Notes section (# of Matches per day (1 referee can cover up to 6 matches of 7s. Multiple referees will need to be allocated as # of games increase: 2 for 12, 3 for 18, etc.).\u200b # of teams. Type of match: 7s or 15s or 10s. Turf or Grass & # of Fields)\n

PROOFREAD DETAILS:\nYou are responsible for the accuracy of your entries. Hit Save. Your games will show on our schedule as \u201cPending\u201d, until approved by the Society.\nTeams that have unpaid bills will remain pending until cleared by our treasurer. Registering your team with the Society<\/font>\n
(and keeping contact details current) <\/font><\/span><\/h3>

If you are adding a team your primary point of contact is Anthony Helmandollar on secretary@rrsny.org<\/a>.

Anyone who has the role \u201cMembership Officer\u201d can add others and can assign them roles. Login to Match Facts. Go to the \u201cOrganization\u201d view by clicking in the top left of the page. Go to MEMBERS Click \u201cAdd member\u201d. Each club must have at least 2 members, and there is no maximum number of members. Enter name and email – Your new member then will get an email to complete their registration.\n
WHAT WE DON’T NEED: Date of birth, Gender, Postal address\u200b\u200b for every member.\n
WE DO NEED:\u200b Club Treasurer’s contact information that includes: Email address Phone number. The club’s correct postal address for BILLING. Club President’s contact information that includes: Email address and Phone number\u200b .\nPlease clear out any members who are no longer involved in your club\u2019s administration.\n
FOR CONFERENCES ONLY: You also need to update your contact list with a name and email address for the following three roles: Leader (president, commissioner, etc.), Treasurer, Chair of Disciplinary Committee

Communicating with a Referee <\/font><\/span><\/h3>

Contact details for your Referee will be provided via a notification when a Referee has been scheduled for your game and has accepted the assignment.
You should email the Referee to confirm all logistical detail. <\/font><\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n \n <\/div>

Paying a Referee <\/font><\/span><\/h3>

Your obligation is to provide payment to the Referee on the day of the game, but if this is not possible due to administrative restrictions, then no later than one week after the game.  We recognize that there are variations in how clubs, colleges, and schools process payments for Referees.
Non-payment of Referees may result in further Referee assignments being cancelled.<\/font> <\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div><\/div>

Demonstrating the Spirit of the Game<\/font><\/span><\/h3>

Referee abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances<\/b><\/i>, and will be dealt with immediately, which may result in match suspension, sanction of players or coaches, or more severe outcomes.
Abuse of players from coaches is strongly discouraged by the Society.
Abuse from spectators aimed at players or coaches is strongly discouraged by the Society and should be managed appropriately by team management.

All forms of abuse will be recorded by Referees on their Match Reports <\/b>
